It's Portable!
SportsShade™ is a portable awning system designed
for use in outdoor sports (baseball, softball, track, soccer,
tennis, etc.). It is fully retractable including guy lines and
comes with a detachable bag/banner. The bag unwraps, transforming
into a team banner! The team banner may be personalize for your
team. Cool! SportsShade™ has a handle on the bag and on the
housing for easy carrying and the whole thing weighs less than
9 pounds!

than direct sun light. Our bodies have natural cooling systems
which spend energy regulating internal temperature. So the team

Quick Set Up!
It's very quick to set up and take
down - about 30 seconds! To set
it up, just attach clip hooks to the fence, pull out on the handle,
swing out the poles, unwind guys from the end spools and attach
the stakes to ground with an old bat or hammer.
It's Transportable!
SportsShade™ is small enough (2 1/4" diameter)
to fit beneath the seats of most SUVs and Vans and is 6' - 6"
long. Long straps are attached to SportsShade™ to fasten
and transport on luggage racks.
Pre and Post-Game Shade
SportsShade™ can be attached to most vehicles
with luggage racks for pre- and post-game gatherings! The straps
at the awning edge just wrap around and clip. Accessories for
set up on concrete will soon be available.
Other Uses
SportsShade™ may be attached to fences, vehicles
with luggage racks, trees and houses. Other Uses may include:
Hunting, Fishing, Road-Side Vending, Track Meets, Swim Meets,
NASCAR Races and Home and Garden.
Specifications:
Aluminum Housing: Light weight anodized aluminum tube.
200 cm long x 5 cm diameter.
Torsional Roller: 18 cm diameter aluminum with torsional
spring fittings at each end to retract awning material
Awning Material: Water resistant, light weight polyester
fabric meeting CPAI-84 fire codes. 175 cm wide x 245 cm long with
seamed or sealed edges. Front edge to have aluminum stiffener
bar sewn in to pocket.
Poles: Light weight anodized aluminum. 16 mm diameter
x 175 cm long. Bottom ends fitted with plastic bearing.
Straps: Heavy Duty canvas 2.5 cm wide x 30 cm long
with double stitched joints.
Handle: Heavy Duty canvas 2.5 cm wide. Mechanically
fastened to housing
Guy ropes: Nylon cord 250 cm x 2 mm or 3 mm diameter
with polyvinyl tension adjuster clip.
Stakes: Stainless steel stakes with loop at the end.
